Registration and passport service

1. School registration
We will have the new school year (2009-2010) student registration service again. If you have not registered, please come in the coming Sunday (later registration, a $20 fee will be charged):
- New student
- current student (if you have not registered)
- Credit class
Time: 10:30 AM--2:00 PM

2. Passport service and pick-up
New visa applications, and those who have not picked up their passports on May 23, please come on Sunday, May 31:

There will be an information session about credit classes that we have at SDHXCS.

Audience: parents who would like to know more about the credit program at SDHXCS.

Hua Xia Chinese New Year Festival 2/1/09‏

Hope the year of ox will be better than the previous one. Let's celecbrate new year on 2/1/2009!

There will be no school on 2/1/2009. The Festival will be held on:

Where: Miramar College Parking Lotl

When: Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009 (10:30am-2:30pm)

Schedule:

- 10:30 am: Parade: Drum(YaoGu) and Lion & Dragon dancers, martial arts and Chinese costumes parade.

- 11:30 am: Stage performance, and all the winners of XieZiBiSai will be awarded with trophies on the stage.

- 11:00 am: Student Store with fun stuff will be open for your kids to redeem their coupons on that day.

We also have food, jumpers, icee, cotton candy, clown, face painting and lots of games. The festival will be over by 2:30pm.

Our next Student Store will be on 5/10/9.

Our Chinese Hearts Music Performance

There will be an art performance by a group of professional Chinese musicians and performers on 11/7. Details can be found at www.sdcausa.org. I would like to ask you to help me sell the tickets to music lovers. There are two types of tickets: VIP ($50) and regular ($10). The former will have reserved seats (front seats) and the latter will be on a first come first served basis.

1. Please promote the event in anyway you can among your contacts and circle of friends. Attached please find a poster and a power point, which can be used for the promotion purposes. Name and picture of the actors can be found at www.sdcausa.org.
2. Tickets can also be bought from different locations. Check www.sdcausa.org for more details.

Time: 7:30 pm, November 7 (Friday)

Venue: East County Performing Arts Center

Ticket: VIP $50 (reserved front seat) Regular $10
