San Diego Hua Xia Chinese School 2008-2009 New Student Registration Notice
Pre-registration：
Dates: 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 6/1/08 Time: 10:30am- 2:30pm
Location: Miramar College, #D103, 10440 Black Mountain Rd. San Diego, CA. 92126
First Day of School：9/7/08 Miramar College Campus
Age Requirement: 5 ½ for regular/bilingual.
Class Schedule:
1. Miramar College 10440 Black Mountain Rd. San Diego, CA. 92126 (Sunday)
- Morning 9:50 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.
- Afternoon 1:20 p.m. - 4:10 p.m.
Chinese Class Information: (two periods 50 min. class with 10 min. recess in between).
The class starts one week after Labor Day and ends the week before Memorial Day, 30 weeks in the whole school year.
Regular classes are conducted in Chinese for heritage kids (parents speak Chinese at home).
Credit Prep is for 10 years or older with no Chinese background and class is taught in both Chinese and English.
Bilingual is for 5 ½ year or older with no Chinese background and the class is conducted in both Chinese and English.
Enrichment Class Information: (one period of 50 min after Chinese class)
- 3rd period enrichment class is optional; the enrichment program has (math, drawing, dance, chess, go, soccer, tennis, volleyball, chorus, photograph, drama and martial arts etc.).
- Most of the enrichment classes are taught in English.
- Regular enrichment is $20 per year and most special enrichment is based on $6 per class.
- All the information of regular and special enrichment classes will be published on the web right before school starts and also will be posted outside of the office on first day of school. There is no enrichment class on the first day of school. You can get enrichment coupons on the first day of school outside of the D103. Please write the student’s name on the coupon and present it to the teacher of Enrichment Class that he/she intends to join.
- Special enrichment class($6 per class):
Make check payable to SDHXCS and give to check to the teacher.
· The enrichment classes may be cancelled if the enrollment is below 5 students.

Method of Payment: Make check payable to SDHXCS. No credit card please.
Refund Policy:
There is $20 no refundable processing fee. $40 will be deducted in Sept. $80 will be deducted in Oct., and $120 in Nov. No refund after Thanksgiving Break. Please download the withdrawn form from our web and mail it to our address.
