San Diego Hua Xia Chinese School (SDHXCS) was founded in 1997 by a group of Chinese scholars from mainland China, as a non-profit, non-religious, and non-political educational organization, and was registered as the 501 (C) (3) organization with the Secretary of the State. Focusing on the Chinese language education, the school teaches simplified Chinese and the phonetic system with Saturday/Sunday classes. With the current enrollment over 1000, our school has three branches and 70 classes, 40 enrichment classes, 8 sport teams, and various clubs organized by the school parent committee. Our Hua Xia Chinese School is the only school certified by the College Board to offer AP Chinese class in San Diego.
